Vaulting
The wind of heaven is that which blows between
a horse's ears. - Arabian proverb
Horseplay! Recreational Vaulting
"It is a happy talent to know how to play." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Recreational vaulting is the perfect opportunity to horse around! This playful approach to horses is ideal for all levels of riders and anyone who enjoys the idea of being on and around horses. |
Recreational vaulting can be done on a barrel, at the halt, walk, trot or canter. Most students quickly relax and harmonize with the horse, gaining balance and riding competence faster than if they were engaged in a conventional riding lesson. Since the horse is under the command of the instructor, the vaulter is free to focus on their balance, form, and control, allowing them to learn faster and more effectively. It is more affordable because several kids share one horse. It is very safe and a lot of FUN!!

In addition KAY NEHLS, a former gymnast and professional instructor is leading us to do a big part of gymnastics, stretching, strength training and fun team building exercises there. TECC is located at 6595 Cascade Road SE in Cascade, Grand Rapids. |
| By promoting Vaulting in the Grand Rapids area and beyond, our goal is to help children learn physical coordination, gain self-esteem and to work as team members while having fun! |
