CASPIAN

Caspian is a Percheron-Thoroughbred gelding. Karin bought him on April Fool's day 2007, when he was 5 Years old. Almost nothing was ever done with him until then and so Karin saddle trained him. He is mainly ridden dressage and used for vaulting. Don't let him intimidate you with his 17.1 hands and roughly guessed 1400 pounds, he is just a big baby.

CHARLEY

Charley is a 12-year old registered Morgan that stands 15'1 hands tall. He was Karin's first horse and got A Vaulting Connection started. He serves primarily as our therapy and vaulting horse. He enjoys getting all the attention and loves every single apple and carrot he receives from the kids!

Romeo

Romeo is a 7-year old Pony gelding. He is quite feisty and has spank. He certainly enjoys living with the other horses in their big pasture. He is very fast! Sometimes, when you watch him, you think he has wheels instead of legs. - And he has blue eyes.

VINNIE

Vinnie is a very friendly guy. He whinnies all the time and likes it when he is groomed and petted. He is not Karin's horse, but we have permission to use him for the vaulting team and some riders.

SNOOPY

Snoopy is our cutie. He stands 11.2 hands tall and is a 8-year-old gelding. He is a well trained and kids safe pony. Believe it or not he used to sort cattle with his former owner. At Stonehill Stable he is the favorite from our Runtriders, but he also goes walk/trot/ canter with young riders from the Junior Riding Program independently.

GOLDIE

Goldie is a Palomino Quarter horse mare, 7 years old and about 16 hands tall. She is trained in Reining, Western, English and also is save when going on trail rides. She is very sweet and gentle with handicapped kids as well as patient with riders and vaulters. She loves to be petted and groomed.

We are in the process of getting a little Miniature Horse as well. Check out this site again soon to find out more about it and to look at additional pictures.
