Horse Boarding
Stonehill StableStonehill Stable was founded 25 years ago and is owned by Yvonne Dodgson. Karin's Horse Connection leases the entire facility. Currently we are home to 22 horses of many different breeds. We are a laid back community of horse enthusiasts who mainly enjoy leisurely riding without too many ambitions to go to horse shows. Stonehill is surrounded by rolling hills, huge pastures, hay fields and woods. There are many beautiful trails and dirt roads to ride on. We have a indoor arena (50x100), attached to the stalls, two outdoor arenas (60x120, 40x80) and a round pen. We have an office, lounge, tack room, bathroom, hot and cold water, and private lockers.
We have a few stalls available for horse boarding. The board includes daily turnout and care. We treat every horse like it is our own.

Horse Training
Karin's special expertise is building confidence and trust in horses and in their human friends--no matter how old the horses are or how they were treated previously. She uses techniques of natural horsemanship, establishing consequent leadership with lots of patience. Karin is an expert in teaching ground manners and lunging the German way, which she calls "riding with remote control". Karin's riding is based on dressage and on the training scale (Relaxation, Rhythm,Contact, Impulsion, Staightness, and Collection).
