Horse Training

Karin's special expertise is building confidence and trust in horses and in their human friends--no matter how old the horses are or how they were treated previously. She uses techniques of natural and logical horsemanship, establishing consequent leadership with lots of patience. Karin is an expert in teaching ground manners and lunging the German way, which she calls "riding with remote control". De-spooking/bomb-proofing and trailer loading training is done by request. Karin's riding is based on dressage and on the "Training Scale" (Relaxation, Rhythm, Contact, Impulsion, Straightness, and Collection).

Karin offers clinics on topics like:

  • Longeing - riding with remote control
  • Vaulting - gymnastics on horseback
  • Foundation in horse care and stable management
  • Bomb proofing your horse - and you!
